This is one of the easiest ways to help support Kol Ami. You spend money at stores that you otherwise spend money at and Kol Ami makes some money along the way.
How it works:
You buy a card at face value by writing check to Kol Ami (cash works too, but no credit cards). We have $25, $50 and $100 denominations. Kol Ami makes 5% of every card purchase that you make, for example if you purchase $100 card, $5 dollars goes to Kol Ami. You get 100% of the face value, so a $100 card will buy you $100 worth of groceries at the store that issued the card. The cards are very convenient and can be used a number of times until the balance on the card is fully depleted. You don’t need to keep track of the cards’ balance. The store will automatically debit the right amount from the card. The cards have a phone number on the back. If you need to inquire about the cards’ balance, just call the number and automated system will provide you with required information.
We have further enhanced this program to allow portion of your scrip purchase to offset your membership dues. For each $100 in scrip purchase you can offset your membership dues by $5. Maximum membership fee credit amounts are listed below and are based on the level of your membership.
